Dig Less. Hit Nothing. Finish on Time.

Hydrovac uses pressurized water and vacuum to expose buried utilities with precision. Here’s what that means on your site.

Dig exactly what's needed.

A precise hole instead of an open trench means less spoil, less backfill and a smaller footprint on a site that's already tight.

We fit where your equipment can't.

Tight urban corridors, under sidewalks, between live services, inside active rail. If an excavator can't get in safely, we can.

No strikes, no stop-work.

Water doesn't cut gas, fibre or watermain. Nothing gets hit, nothing gets reported, nobody stands around waiting on a utility crew.

Winter doesn't stall the schedule.

Onboard boilers cut frost, so a February start date stays a February start date.

We show up when we say we will.

Same-day and after-hours callouts across Ontario, because a locate delay shouldn't turn into a two-day delay.

Clean site, happy inspector.

Spoils go straight into the tank. Not onto the road, not into the catch basin, not into a complaint.

Restoration costs drop.

Less asphalt, sod and concrete to put back. On most jobs that's where open-cut budgets quietly disappear.

What We Do With a Vac Truck

Daylighting to spills response, on road and on rail.

Utility Daylighting

Expose gas, hydro, fibre, water and
sewer before you dig. Locates tell you
roughly where a service is —
daylighting tells you
exactly, including depth. Standard
practice on municipal and utility work,
and the cheapest insurance on any
site with live
services.

Slot Trenching

Narrow, clean-walled trenches for
cable, conduit and pipe without
opening the full width of a road.
Less spoil, less backfill, less
restoration, and a lane you can
hand back sooner.

Sanitary & Sewer Cleaning

Catch basins, manholes, sewer
lines and wet wells cleaned and
vacuumed out. Debris hauled and
disposed of under our MOE
registration.

Spills Response & Cleanup

Registered with the MOE for spills
response. Contaminated soil and
liquid recovered, contained and
hauled to approved disposal
— with the documentation your
environmental file needs.

Hi-Rail Hydrovac

 Rules-qualified operators working
inside live rail corridors. Daylighting,
potholing and excavation on right-of-
way where road
equipment can't reach and won't be
permitted.

Emergency & After-Hours Callout

 Same-day response across
Ontario. Strikes, breaks, floods
and washouts don't wait for
business hours, and neither do our
crews.

Every Sector Has Its Own Rules. We Work to All of Them.

From MOE registration to rail rules qualification, our crews arrive ready for municipal, telecom, rail, power, fuel and development sites across Ontario.

Municipal & Government

Watermain and sewer daylighting, catch basin and
manhole cleaning, spills response. Working under
MOE registration for municipalities and utilities
across Simcoe, Muskoka and the GTA.

Telecom & Broadband

Potholing and slot trenching for fibre builds.
Expose existing plant before boring, and keep
conduit runs off the full-width trench.

Developers & General Contractors

Site servicing for subdivisions and ICI
development, without opening finished roads,
landscaping or hard surfaces.

Developers & General Contractors

Same-day callouts when a locate is wrong or a
service turns up where the drawings said it
wouldn't. We work around your sequence, not
against it.

Rail & Transit

 Rules-qualified crews inside live corridors.
Daylighting, potholing and excavation on right-
of-way where road equipment isn't permitted.

Hydro & Power

Primary and secondary duct for distribution
networks, bored or ploughed under roads,
highways and rail.

Fuel & Gas

Fuel and gas line installation to the tolerances and documentation this work requires.

What Happens After You Call.

A clear four-step process, so you know who is on site, what is being exposed and when the surface goes back.

01

Scope and locate

You send us the site, the
scope and the drawings.
We confirm locates are in
place, review as-builts for
what's buried, and flag
anything that looks off
before a truck leaves the
yard.

02

Mobilize

Crew and vac truck on
site with a job-specific
plan and the right permits
in hand. Rail corridor work
goes out with rules-
qualified operators and
the flagging
arrangements already
sorted.

03

Excavate

Water and vacuum, no
blade. Utilities exposed
and confirmed by depth
and type. Spoils go
straight to the tank, so the
road stays clear while we
work.

04

Backfill and restore

 Hole backfilled and
compacted, surface
restored, spoils hauled
and disposed of under
our MOE registration.
Photos and
documentation for your
project file.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our services, emergency response, and project timelines.

An underground utility contractor installs, repairs and supports underground infrastructure such as water, sewer, telecom, hydro, fuel and geothermal systems using specialized construction methods and equipment.

CC Underground provides horizontal directional drilling (HDD), hydrovac excavation, utility ploughing, HDPE pipe fusion, geothermal loop installation and related underground construction services across Ontario.

Hydrovac excavation uses pressurized water and vacuum removal to safely expose underground utilities, daylight services, slot trench and excavate around existing infrastructure with less surface disruption.

HDD provides trenchless installation of water, sewer, telecom, hydro and other utility lines beneath roads, rail corridors, waterways and developed areas while minimizing surface disruption.

The company is registered with ComplyWorks , has CROR-qualified crews for live rail corridors, and is currently pursuing COR certification through IHSA.
