Fused On Site. Not Trucked In.

We fuse HDPE and weld steel casing right where the pipe goes in, so your pull never waits on someone else’s shop.

Excavator lifting fused pipe

Strings built at the job.

Long strings are fused and staged beside the bore, ready to pull as soon as the hole is. No shop turnaround and no transport limit on string length.

No mechanical
joints, no leak
points.

Butt fusion turns separate lengths into one continuous pipe. The fused joint is as strong as the pipe wall, which is why it’s specified for pressure mains and anything going under a road or river.

Steel casing welded
in the field.

Rail and highway crossings often require steel casing. We weld it where it’s going in, not in a shop three hours away.

The whole job stays
in-house.

We drill, fuse, weld and install. One crew, one schedule, and one point of contact when something changes.

Small or large, one
contractor.

From a 2" service line to a 48"+ trunk main. Small jobs don’t get turned down and big ones don’t get subbed out.

Certified operators.

A fusion is only as good as the operator and the parameters. Our operators are certified, and every joint is recorded.

What We Fuse
and Weld

HDPE and steel for water, sewer, conduit and
crossings, from a 2" service line to a 48"+
trunk main.

Water Mains & Services

HDPE distribution mains and service lines, butt-fused into continuous strings that hold pressure without gaskets or mechanical couplings.

Sanitary & Forcemain

Pressurized forcemain and gravity sewer in fused HDPE. No gasketed joints means no infiltration and no root intrusion at the joints.

Telecom & Fibre

HDPE conduit for fibre and data builds, joined into the long continuous runs these projects need and staged ready for the pull.

Hydro & Power Duct

Primary and secondary duct for hydro and power distribution, fused in the diameters and wall thicknesses the utility specifies.

Rail & Highway Casing

Steel casing welded on site for rail and highway crossings, with the fused carrier pipe installed inside it.

Geothermal Loops

Supply and return lines for horizontal loop fields, fused into sealed, continuous circuits.

HDPE butt fusion machine

Our Fusion and Welding Services

Butt fusion and field welding from 2" to 48"+, on our
own bores or as a subcontract on yours.

01

On-site butt fusion

HDPE strings fused at the job in sizes from 2" up, then staged for pullback or lay-in.

02

Large-diameter fusion

24" through 48"+, the sizes most contractors don’t have the machines for.

03

Steel casing welding

Steel casing welded in the field for rail and highway crossings.

04

Subcontract fusion

We fuse for other contractors who don’t carry the machines or the certification. Our crew, your project.

An underground utility contractor installs, repairs and supports underground infrastructure such as water, sewer, telecom, hydro, fuel and geothermal systems using specialized construction methods and equipment.

CC Underground provides horizontal directional drilling (HDD), hydrovac excavation, utility ploughing, HDPE pipe fusion, geothermal loop installation and related underground construction services across Ontario.

Hydrovac excavation uses pressurized water and vacuum removal to safely expose underground utilities, daylight services, slot trench and excavate around existing infrastructure with less surface disruption.

HDD provides trenchless installation of water, sewer, telecom, hydro and other utility lines beneath roads, rail corridors, waterways and developed areas while minimizing surface disruption.

The company is registered with ComplyWorks , has CROR-qualified crews for live rail corridors, and is currently pursuing COR certification through IHSA.
